Rövid bemutatkozás
Ezen az oldalon Ön azon ritka festők egyikével találkozik,
aki RETROAVANTGARDnak tartja magát, hisz már a Kádár-rendszerben
kizsűrizték klasszikus alapokon nyugvó realista és szürrealista képeit.
Már ekkor érezte és tudta, hogy művészeti útja nem a szokványos
kiállítótermeken és galériákon keresztül fog a
közönséghez és műgyűjtőkhöz eljutni.
Egyéni és egyedi utat kellett járnia, hogy elsajátíthassa
azt a festészetet, melyet nem engedett, hogy a kor áramlatai,
divatja, nézetei befolyásoljanak.
Festészetében mindig is azt az ideát és öntörvényűséget követte,
melyre leginkább a kontúrosan, színesen megjelenített realizmus jellemző.
A hazai képkereskedések, festményterjesztők, és a legtöbb
átlagos galéria nem tudták megadni számára azt a megmutatkozási
lehetőséget, és erőt, mely az ez idő alatt készült
festményeinek megjárt volna.
Az absztrakt irányzatokkal mindig is kísérletezési szinten foglakozott,
a kommersz, tucat-festészetet pedig hamar maga mögött hagyta.
Egyéni utat járt az elmúlt 30 évben: kezdetben 10 évig csak külföldi
galériák megrendeléseire dolgozott, majd 1990-től itthon kezdett
kiállítani. Ezen kiállításokat mind maga szervezte, rendezte,
nem hajolva meg galériák, művészettörténészek,
és a korszellem nyomásai alatt.
Műtermében jelenleg közel 500 festmény jelzi ezt a munkásságot,
mely az utóbbi 9 évben halmozódott fel.

A Levyntgard az az új, teljesen Levyre jellemző, egyedi festészet,
melyet 2009-től kezdett el.
Ez az anyag alkotja a www.levyntgard.com lap gerincét.
MESTERSÉG és IHLET
RÖVID ÉLETRAJZ (egy művészettörténész tollából)
Levy - teljes nevén Bihari Puhl Levente 1957-ben született Székesfehérváron.
1983 májusában jártam nála először, akkor még igen szerény siófoki műtermében,
és egy komplementer önarcképpel ajándékozott meg. Én ifjú tehetséget, ő pedig
atyai jó barátot fedezett fel bennem. Azóta kísérem figyelemmel festészetét.
Életének egy sorsdöntő fordulata segítette a festészeti pályára 1977-ben.
Ekkor elkezdett festészetet és anatómiát, modellrajzot tanulni.
Különféle képzőművész körök mellett otthon rendezett be önképző műhelyt.
1980-tól külföldi megrendelésekhez jutott, így festészetével már el tudta tartani
önmagát, majd családját is. Amerikai, angol, francia műkereskedők látták el munkával,
majd később német, osztrák és olasz galériák megrendeléseire dolgozott, közönséges
ízlésű zsánerképeket festett. Itt tanulta meg a klasszikus festészet alapjait, és
mesterfogásait - ami felé mindig is vonzódott.
1990-től kezdett el több társával csoportos kiállításokat is rendezni, s így
egyéni és csoportos tárlata 2006-ig több, mint 100 volt az országban.
Főbb helyek: Budapest, Debrecen, Baja, Békéscsaba, Nyíregyháza, Pécs, Sopron, Pápa, stb.
2000 novemberében nagyszabású kiállításon mutatta be sokrétű munkásságát Siófokon,
majd 2005-ben ugyanott megrendezte az első Levyntgard ki- és beállítást.
Levy őstehetség!
Művészetének két alappillére a mesterség és az ihlet.
Számára a festészet elengedhetetlen követelménye a mesterségbeli tudás, aminek a dolgok
szerkezete (anatómia, részletismeret), felépítése, a térszerkesztés, a kompozíció, valamint
a színkeverés a legfőbb összetevői.
Az általam ismert egyetlen olajfestő, aki a reneszánsztól a legmodernebb izmusokig
minden technikában jártas. Nem jellemző viszont rá az uniformizmus (azonos színhasználat,
azonos témaválasztás, és az azonos ecsetkezelés). Művei nem egysíkúak. Éppen ezért teljesen
egyedi és egyéni utat jár.
Képeinek témáját az ihlet határozza meg. Ez dönti el, hogy egy alkotást impresszionista,
kubista, romantikus, szürreális, vagy egyéb más modorban ad elő.
2006-tól új, a művészeti világban egészen egyedi a XX. század festészetének szintetizáló
összefoglalásán - kidolgozásán munkálkodik. E műveit csak a következő évektől fogja
a közönség elé tárni.
Alkotásait, festészetét mindenkinek ajánlom, az egészen egyszerű megrendelőktől a
legigényesebb művészeti galériákig, gyűjtőkig.
